A little update
So, it's been a very busy spring and summer, with lots of festivals and recording going on.
Thoroughly enjoyed all of it. Highlights? Well, the fabulous time on the road with the very loveliest of band mates on the Feast of Fiddles tour - I'm now officially part of the band (the first female Feastie!! Way-hay!!) so see you on tour next Spring! Folk on the Pier, the New Forest Folk Festival (both glorious as ever!), singing and playing with TRADarrr and the Sandy Denny Project in Cropredy at the Brasenose fringe (and making people cry, in a good way!), just being at Fairport's Cropredy Convention, playing with the divine Dave Pegg and Dave Mattacks again, TRADarrr, IOTA and Sandy Denny Project gigs, BBC Radio 2 airplay with Sandy Denny Project ('magnificent' says MR), recording at home, recording with Pete Townshend, Reg Meuross and Phil Beer at Pete's studio, playing Shrewsbury Folk Festival with Fire and Dust - Reg's Woody Guthrie cycle (not one, but two standing ovations), playing with so many friends after along hiatus due to COVID, including Gerry Colvin..the list of loveliness goes on.
Check out the live page here for the next slew of gigs.
And if you want strings on anything, give me a call!!
Delighted to be joining Feast of Fiddles on their Spring Tour in 2022! Dates here
Marion was featured on Mark Radcliffe's Folk Show on BBC Radio 2 on 27th November.
It's available until 27th December on BBC Sounds here.
Full string section recorded for film composer Alex Wilson, based in Geneva.
'Women's Movement 100 - Angels of the North' - directed by Freddie Garland and premiered at

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Marion, like so many other musicians has stayed creative.

And for a bit of fun....
